LightScene is a lighting control app that communicates directly with your eDIN NPU (Network Processing Unit) on your local network. This policy explains what data the app collects, stores, and how it is used.
The app stores the following data locally on your device:
All data is stored on-device only. No data is sent to any external server, cloud service, or third party.
The app communicates exclusively with your eDIN NPU over your local network using HTTP. Commands are sent directly between your device and the NPU. No internet connection is required for the app to function, and no data leaves your local network.
The app allows you to export your configuration (connection settings, favourites, and shortcuts) as a file for sharing via AirDrop or other means. Exported files never contain your password. You have full control over when and with whom you share configuration files.
LightScene does not include any analytics, crash reporting, advertising, or tracking frameworks. The app does not collect usage data, device identifiers, or any form of telemetry.
The app does not require you to create an account or sign in to any online service. The only credentials used are your NPU username and password for communicating with your lighting controller.
LightScene does not use any third-party services, SDKs, or APIs. The app is entirely self-contained.
All app data is stored locally on your device. Deleting the app removes all stored data, including Keychain credentials. You can also reset your configuration from within the Settings screen.
